HI, I'M HAYLEY.

I'm a mum of three to Ruby, Lyla and Rae, based in Biggleswade, and life is usually a mixture of school runs, family chaos, clients in my home hair salon and a matcha never too far away.

I never set out with a big plan to build a travel business. I simply wanted to create a little more freedom for my family, earn an additional income around the life I already had and have something that felt like mine.

And that's where The Elevated Travel Co. began.

I DIDN'T START BECAUSE LIFE WAS PERFECT. I STARTED BECAUSE I WANTED MORE FROM IT

WHEN LIFE CHANGED, SO DID MY PRIORITIES...

Around lockdown, like so many families, things became financially tighter for us.

Holidays were one of the first things we had to sacrifice and, before I knew it, we hadn't travelled together as a family since 2018.

I missed it.

Not just the holidays themselves, but what they represented... time together, new experiences, memories with my children and having something exciting to look forward to.

Discovering the Business...

At the same time, I wanted to contribute more financially without sacrificing the flexibility I needed as a mum.

I was already hairdressing from my home salon, so whatever I did next had to fit around my children and the life we'd built.

I didn't want another job dictating when I could work or when I could be there for my family.

That's when I discovered the opportunity to start my own travel business.

I DIDN'T HAVE IT ALL FIGURED OUT. I JUST STARTED...

I didn't have a background in the travel industry. I didn't have everything figured out. And I definitely didn't suddenly find hours of spare time in my day.

I just started.

Little by little, I learnt the industry, grew in confidence and began building my business around the pockets of time I had available.

And slowly, something shifted.

IT BECAME ABOUT SO MUCH MORE THAN TRAVEL...

I had another way to earn. I had something of my own that I genuinely enjoyed building.

And travel... something that had felt out of reach for our family for a long time, started to become part of our lives again.

That's what makes this business so personal to me.

It hasn't been about creating some picture-perfect life or changing everything overnight.

It's been about creating more choice, more flexibility and more possibility for our family, while still being able to be the mum I want to be.

NOW, I GET TO HELP OTHER WOMEN START TOO...

And now, one of my favourite parts is helping other women realise they can start too.

Women who might be where I was... busy with children, work and everyday life, wanting to earn more or create something for themselves but wondering where on earth they're supposed to find the time or even begin.

I don't believe you need to have it all figured out before you start. I'm still learning, growing and building too.

Sometimes you just need an opportunity, the right support and the willingness to give something a go.
